For his many contributions to Southern California independent bookstores and our community of readers, SCIBA is privileged to honor T. Jefferson Parker by naming its annual mystery award the T. Jefferson Parker SCIBA Mystery Award. This award also honors all of the award winning mysteries Jeff has written and will write in the years to come. Jeff will personally present this award at the annual Authors Feast & Trade Show.
For those who don't know, T. Jefferson Parker was born in Los Angeles and has lived all of his life in Southern California. Those who don't call him Mr. Parker, call him Jeff. The "T" is silent because, in fact, it's simply a letter of the alphabet. Jeff's mom claimed the T would look better on the door of the President.
