This year the Authors Feast & Trade Show is moving back to Long Beach. To the Hilton Long Beach Hotel to be exact.
New this year at the Authors Feast & Book Award Dinner is a Dessert and Authors Reception! Authors Feast & Book Award Dinner will include Brian Selznick as this year's keynote speaker and SCIBA couldn't be more excited! The dinner will also feature the presentation of the 2011 SCIBA Book Awards and a two course dinner. Participating authors will change tables once, allowing for more time to get to know SCIBA booksellers. Following the dinner authors, booksellers and other attendees will adjourn to the Dessert and Authors Reception where 45+ authors will be signing their books, giving you a chance to meet even more authors!

Authors Feast & Trade Show Speakers - What an Amazing Line Up!
SCIBA is over the moon that Brian
Selznick will be our keynote speaker at the Authors Feast & Book Award Dinner! Not only are we all waiting for Wonder Struck, but Brian'sThe Invention of Hugo Cabret has been made into a movie with Martin Scorsese at the helm (release date 11/23). We are very fortunate to have him -- don't miss this incredible presentation.
This year's Authors Lunch is featuring an amazing line up as well. SCIBA's lunch speakers are Amy Ephron (Loose Diamonds, Morrow), Oliver Jeffers (Stuck, Penguin Group for Young Readers), Maggie Stiefvater (Scorpio Races, Scholastic), HéctorTobar (The Barbarian Nurseries,FSG) and Luis Alberto Urrea (Queen of America, Little, Brown).
